Technical Lead | Omnyx Digital Pathology Workflow System Spring-Summer 2009
Participated in a 6-person group project conducting user research, designing and developing a high-fidelity prototype for the Omnyx digital pathology software.
Led the prototype development from paper prototypes to HTML prototypes, and to a final prototype using Expression Blend and C#. Created user test scenarios, conducted and analyzed think-aloud user tests.
Highly contributed to designing features and the user interface. Led documentation of feature specifications delivered to Omnyx developers for implementing the design.
Basic Interaction Design Spring 2009
Conducted user research, created research models and personas, and designed an iPhone application, web application and public kiosk. Developed prototypes using Flash, HTML and JavaScript, and created video sketches for presenting the design.
Collaborative Shopping System Fall 2008
Conducted user research and designed a web browser plug-in for assisting users who are shopping collaboratively. Used contextual design methods, conducted heuristic evaluation, think-aloud user tests and other usability evaluation methods on competitor systems, and developed wireframes for presenting the final design.

Software Development Engineer in Test
Microsoft Korea, Office Development Team. Seoul, Korea May 2004 - June 2008
Successfully tested and shipped multiple Office applications for Microsoft Office 2007 and Office 2010, including Word, Outlook and SharePoint. Responsibilities included requirement analysis, functionality and usability testing.
Successfully planned and executed several multi-month projects such as Search improvement in Outlook, East Asian name/address/calendar feature design and Approval workflow performance analysis. Effectively collaborated with program managers, developers and other teams by prioritizing and escalating critical issues, and providing design suggestions.
Led the automation test development by designing the workflow automation test framework and developing automation test libraries for Korean features in C++ and C#.
